Honorable Representatives!

Die konstituierende Sitzung dauert noch an, jedoch ist es tunlich, währenddessen bereits die Kandidatenfrist für das Amt des Speaker of the House of Representatives zu eröffnen, so dass bald nach Ende der konstituierenden Sitzung sich auch ein vollständiges Kongresspräsidium konstituieren kann.

Ich bitte daher, an dieser Stelle Kandidaturen für das Amt des Speaker of the House bekannt zu geben. Soweit Kandidaten von Dritten nominiert werden, bedarf es an dieser Stelle der Erklärung der ausdrücklichen Bereitschaft des Nominierten zu einer Kandidatur

Die Frist für Kandidaturen lege ich auf Donnerstag, den 06.08.2009, 18:00 Uhr.

Somit endet sie vierundzwanzig Stunden nach dem Ende der konstituierenden Sitzung.
