Es ist insofern das Thema, als dass impliziert wird, ein möglicher Suizidversuch hinge mit der Kandidatur zusammen.

Dass dadurch einiges geändert wird ist auch richtig. Allerdings liegt die Entscheidung hierzu bei Powell und er muss jetzt auch mit den Konsequenzen und zahlreichen unangenehmen Fragen leben. Wie gesagt ist das "Go on, das!" ja kein Blankoscheck, der quasi alles rechtfertigt.

Also wenigstens mir als "Notfallmediziner" wäre das so nicht bekannt. Ganz spontan konnte ich dazu auch nichts zu finden - vielleicht ist das aber auch davon abhängig, was da heilen soll... ;)
