OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF CONGRESS


Honorable Members of Congress!

According to Art. I, Sec. 3 Federal Election Act, Congress has to elect by a majority of the Votes in both Houses a

Director of the United States Electoral Office.

An amount of 96 hours is reserved for nominations. This can be reduced or increased according to the Standing Rules if necessary.

Mr President,
in diesem Punkt scheint große Einigkeit zu bestehen - auch ich hielte Mr Barnett für einen geeigneten Kandidaten, der allerdings nach meinen Informationen nicht zur Verfügung steht. Ich möchte dem Kongress - besser spät als nie - allerdings gleich zwei Vorschläge machen: Ms Susan Walken, former Director of the USEO hat sich bereit erklärt, diese Funktion erneut zu übernehmen und Hamilton City Manager Havelock Mercer, former Acting Director of the USEO stünde nach meinen Informationen zumindest als Deputy Director zur Verfügung.
