Appointment of the Lieutenant-Governor and pullback.

Gemäß der Constitution of the Free State of New Alcantara, Article IV, Section I ernenne ich hiermit RIchard Grey zum Lieutenant-Governor und erkläre, sobald er seinen Eid geleistet hat meinen Rücktritt vom Amt des Governors.

Da ich derzeit noch nicht das passive Wahlrecht innehabe und auch nicht zum Governor gewählt werden könnte, muss ich das Amt leider aus rechtlichen Gründen ablehnen.

An meiner Stelle schlage ich allerdings Mrs. McGarry vor, die alle rechtlichen Vorraussetzungen erfüllt.

Sollte der Governor in Erwägung ziehen, mich zu ernennen, wozu ich bereit wäre, würde ich davon allerdings gerne vorher erfahren. Die nichtige Ernennung von Mr. Grey fand ganz offenbar ohne dessen Einwilligung oder Wissen statt, was ein Mal mehr das Desinteresse von Mr. McQueen an den Angelegenheiten New Alcanteras unterstreicht.

Dass Sie hier offensichtlich allein nach Animositäten entscheiden, widerspricht jeglicher politischer Professionalität.

Ich bin schon aus rechtlichen Gründen vorerst nicht qualifiziert für das Amt, zumindest solange nicht, bis ich das passive Wahlrecht für das Amt besitze, was frühestens in einem Monat der Fall sein wird.

Mrs. McGarry ist die optimale Kandidatin für das Amt, sodass ich hier auch nochmal ihre Ernennung fordere.

Nein. Ich habe ein Amt auf Bundesebene übernommen und halte es für dringend geboten, mich dort mit aller Kraft einzubringen, um in den letzten Tagen der Templeton-Administration das Schlimmste von New Alcantara und Astor abzuwenden.

Ich möchte jedoch Mr. Grey für das Amt vorschlagen, nachdem die rechtlichen Hürden inzwischen genommen sein dürften. Er wäre ein hervorragender Kandidat, der meine volle Unterstützung genösse.
