Elimination of the Penny Amendment

Sec. 1 Amendment to Sec. 5 Federal Reserve Bank Act
Sec. 5 Federal Reserve Bank Act wird wie folgt geändert:
    "Section 5 - Bills and Coins
    (1) Die Zahlungseinheit der Vereinigten Staaten von Astor ist der United States Dollar (Abkürzung: USD; Symbol: $) zu 100 Cents.
    (2) Der Gläubiger ist berechtigt, die Annahme von Münzen mit einem Nennwert von weniger als 10 Cent zu verweigern und hierfür die Geldschuld auf ganze 10 Cent aufzurunden.
    (3) Ab dem 1. Januar 2016 sollen keine Münzen mit einem Nennwert von weniger als 10 Cent mehr gemünzt werden."
Sec. 2 Entry into Force
(1) Dieses Gesetz tritt gemäß den verfassungsmäßigen Bestimmungen in Kraft.
(2) Seine Bestimmungen treten nicht vor dem 1. Juni 2015 in Geltung.
