2014/11/05 By-Election of the Speaker of the Assembly

Honorable Commoners,

Commoner Alexander Meyer hat eine vorzeitige Neuwahl des Speakers gemäß Section II Article 2 § 4 der Standing Orders beantragt. Zur Durchführung der vorzeitigen Neuwahl bedarf dieser Antrag der Unterstützung eines Drittels der Mitglieder der Assembly.

Willkür ist etwas, dass selbst begründet werden muss. Und, da mein Antrag einer war, der am längsten auf Eröffnung gewartet hat, erkläre ich hiermit, dass Speaker Holland keine Verzögerung zugelassen hat, die nicht im Rahmen eines vertretbaren Zeitraums war. Sie hat keinerlei Aussprache hinausgezögert, vor allem meine nicht.
