Das Wahlergebnis von Congressman Ford ist ein Sieg der Protestwählerkultur. Der Zuspruch für ihn ist bedauerlich und eine wahre Schande für unsere liberal-demokratische Gesellschaft, jedoch ist das Wahlergebnis auf der anderen Seite natürlich vollumfänglich zu akzeptieren. Nur die dümmsten Kälber wählen ihren Metzger selbst.

Mr. Ford, es ist doch eine Tatsache, dass Sie es geschafft haben, ohne jeden Wahlkampf und ohne jede Leistung in ihren bisherigen Amtszeiten ein unglaublich gutes Wahlergebnis einzufahren, das sich also nicht auf ihrer Kompetenz begründen kann, sondern nur auf stumpfer Loyalität von Menschen, denen die Partei scheinbar wichtiger ist als das Wohl Astors.
