Weil an anderer Stelle Suaheli aufkam, fiel mir in dem Zusammenhang ein: das ist mit Abstand die freundlichste und friedlichste Sprache, die ich kenne. Da gibt es praktisch keine Beleidigung, aber hundert Formen zu sagen wie gut es einem gut. Und als mein damaliger Nachbar mir gesagt hat, dass seine Frau gestorben ist, ging es ihm nicht schlecht, sondern "safi kidogo tu", "nur ein bisschen gut" - total irre.

Wenn, dann hört man mal "naomba (pia)", also "ich will (auch)", aber an sich gibt es da kaum bis nie richtigen Streit. Viel öfter hört man "tupo pamoja" - "wir sind gemeinsam" grob übersetzt, also ein Ausdruck von Solidarität.
