Ladies and Gentlemen,

gemäß Election of Congress Act, Article I, Section 2 (3) ist durch das Electoral Office ein Wählerverzeichnis zur Erlangung des aktiven Wahlrechts auszulegen.

Aktives Wahlrecht kann nur erlangen, wer seine Staatsbürgerschaft spätestens zum 29.06.2010 erhalten hat und sich in dieses Wählerverzeichnis einträgt und das achtzehnte Lebensjahr vollendet hat.

Alle Wählerinnen und Wähler, die aktiv an der Wahl teilnehmen wollen, werden damit aufgefordert sich unter
Angabe ihres vollen Namens und ihres vollen Geburtsjahres
hier einzutragen.

Zudem ist der Bundesstaat aufzuführen, in dem der Wähler am 13. Juni 2010 wohnhaft war. Ist der Wähler erst nach diesem Datum Bürger geworden, so hat er den Bundesstaat aufzuführen, den er bei seiner Ankunft als Wohnort ausgewählt hat.

Das Wählerverzeichnis bleibt 120 Stunden geöffnet.
Wer sich innerhalb dieser Frist nicht in das Verzeichnis einträgt, verliert für die Wahl das aktive Wahlrecht gemäß dem Election of Congress Act.

Ist es jemandem innerhalb der Fristen aufgrund von entschuldigter Abwesenheit nicht möglich sich in das Wählerverzeichnis einzutragen, so kann er die Eintragung nach seiner Rückkehr bis 24 Stunden vor Wahlbeginn vornehmen.

Wer sich in dieses Wählerverzeichnis einträgt, erlangt automatisch das aktive Wahlrecht für die Wahlen zum House of Representatives und zu eventuell in seinem Heimatstaat parallel stattfindenden Senatswahlen.

Das Wählerverzeichnis wird am Sonntag, den 11.07.2010 um 20:02 Uhr geschlossen.
