abkratzen = gaaaanz schrecklich schweres, schmerzhaftes ableben (Formulierung mit oftmals herabwürdigendem Charakter)

Ich hasse es übrigens unglaublich, auf Ergebnisse von der Uni warten zu müssen, von denen mein Wechsel an den neuen Studienort abhängt und dabei weder rauchen noch trinken zu dürfen :/ Irgendwie haben diese Dinge doch eine unglaublich beruhigende Wirkung manchmal.
Achso: Waren hier nicht übrigens Historiker unter uns? Falls ja, würde ich gerne einen davon was zu seinem Studium fragen :D

An die Ruhr-Universität Bochum, und um auf die andere Frage einzugehen: Zum Einen bietet die RUB mir einen sehr coolen Schwerpunkt ("Strafverteidigung, Strafprozess und Kriminologie", für meine bessere Hälfte gibts außerdem "Familie, Vermögen und Verfahren" als Schwerpunkt; meine bisherige Uni ist in allen Schwerpunkten sehr auf die Wirtschaft eingestellt was mir wenig liegt.), zum anderen gibt es familiäre Gründe für den Wechsel.
