Honorable Representatives!

The question before the House is whether it shall agree to the Bill to be read by the Clerk.

Votes can be entered into the Records of the House by the Yeas and Nays. The presence of a member not voting will also be put into the Records if declared (Present).

An amount of 96 hours without increment is reserved for the entering into the Record. Records will be closed on this motion in the discretion of the Chair, if a majority on the motion is reached or can not be reached.

Eligibility for Vice President of the United States Reform Bill
An Act to grant State-IDs, as instituted by the Federal Election Act, the eligibility for Vice President of the United States.

Section 1 - Amendment of the Federal Election Act
(1) Article I, Section 3, Subsection 4, No. 2, Federal Election Act wird wie folgt gefasst:
    State ID - Wahlrecht bei Wahlen zu Ämtern auf Staatsebene und ausschließlich passives Wahlrecht auf Bundesebene zum Vizepräsidenten der Vereinigten Staaten
(2) Article I, Section 5, Subsection 4, Federal Election Act wird wie folgt gefasst:
    Ein Amtsantritt von Wahlämtern auf Bundesebene ist nur möglich, wenn der gewählte Kandidat als Federal-ID registriert ist. Eine zum Vizepräsidenten der Vereinigten Staaten gewählte State-ID kann in den gemäß der Bundesverfassung bestimmten Fällen in das Amt des Präsidenten der Vereinigten Staaten nur aufrücken, wenn sie vor ihrer Angelobung als Präsident der Vereinigten Staaten in eine Federal-ID gemäß diesem Gesetz umgewandelt wurde. Verliert eine Person ihre Registrierung als Federal-ID, geht damit der Verlust aller von ihr innegehaltenen Wahlämter auf Bundesebene einher.
Section 2 - Coming into force
Dieses Gesetz tritt mit seiner Kundmachung durch den Präsidenten der Vereinigten Staaten in Kraft und findet erstmalige Anwendung in der Wahl zum Präsidenten der Vereinigten Staaten im Monat Mai 2017.
