2017/02/4 - Speaker Constitutional Amendment Bill



Honorable Commoners!


The question before the Assembly is whether it shall agree to the following motion.

 Votes can be entered into the Records of the House by the Ayes and Nays. The presence of a member not voting will also be put into the Records if declared (Abstention).

An amount of 96 hours without increment is reserved for the entering into the Record. Records will be closed on this motion in the discretion of the Chair, if a majority on the motion is reached or can not be reached.

Speaker Constitutional Amendment Bill
Section 1 - Purpose
Dieses Gesetz dient dazu, den Vorsitzenden des Staatsparlaments auch in der Verfassung korrekt zu bezeichnen.
Section 2 - Amendment
Art. III Sec. 2 (1) - (2) wird folgendermaßen neu gefasst:
(1) Das Staatsparlament wählt aus seinen Reihen einen Speaker und gibt sich eine Geschäftsordnung.
(2) Im Falle der Verhinderung des Speakers hat das dienstälteste verfügbare Mitglied des Staatsparlamentes die Sitzungsleitung bis zur Wahl eines neuen Speaker inne.

Section 3 - Entry into Force
Dieses Gesetz tritt unverzüglich nach Verkündigung in Kraft.
